Description

Always released on the 3rd Thursday of November, Beaujolais Nouveau is the celebrated French wine, picked, vinified and released for sale within about 8 weeks of the harvest. The 2009 vintage in Beaujolais will be one of the finest on record. We are once again offering a Single Domaine Beaujolais Nouveau wine, from the much respected Domaine Champalle. The wine has a rich ruby colour reminiscent of the 2005 and 1976 vintage. The wine develops a bouquet of aromatic complexity combining fruity tones such as morello cherry and red currants. This Nouveau has a beautiful structure and robust style with hints of raspberry and blackcurrant on the palate with a good length to the finish. The 2009 vintage will go down as one of the best in line with other famous vintages with a 9` in them.
