One of the smallest wineries in Rioja and at the same time one of the most outstanding ones, not only for the great wine made but also for the enthusiasm and dedication of the owner Miguel Merino. He makes classical Reservas of Rioja with a modern touch. He started his quest to produce some of the finest wines in Rioja some 20 years ago in the village of Briones in the heart of the Rioja Alta, with old vineyards of Tempranillo grapes, chalky soil and a climate showing a marked Atlantic influence; it offers all he could wish.
