Description
The fruit for this wine comes from Brown Brothers celebrated Heathcote vineyard that sits on the rolling eastern slopes of the Mount Camel range near Bendigo. The wine has a deep saturated black red colour with aromas of ripe blackberries and nutmeg. The wine is matured in predominantly older oak which gives the palate an elegance and refinement that is not usually found in young Durif, the dark berry fruit flavours follow through to the palate and the oak is seamlessly integrated into the wine.
