Chablis

We are listing Chablis from three different Domaines

Domaine Hamelin

This family run Domaine can be found in the small village of Lignorelles which is situated 3 miles from the town of Chablis. These domaine bottled wines are soft with a good balance between fruit and acidity offering immediate appeal. Fermentation and maturation takes place in stainless steel, ( no oak used here) to give fresh clean wines. Individual wines at very attractive prices.

Domaine Vincent Sauvestre

Now owned by the 4th generation wine grower Vincent Sauvestre. It was established in 1891 at Meursault in the heart of Burgundy in the Cote d’Or. The Domaine spreads over 60 hectares of which 24 are in the Chablis area. 30% aging in new oak is used, to add an extra dimension to the wine. All the production takes place in their modern winery to ensure consistent quality.

Domaine William Fevre

We are listing a Grand Cru Chablis from Domaine William Fevre. It is from the Bougros Comune one of the 7 Grand Crus which are all situated on one hillside overlooking Chablis itself. A vibrant and expressive style of grand cru with good mineral characteristics and complex style.

Domaine Laroche

The Laroche family has produced wines from Chablis since 1850. Michel Laroche who represents the 5th generation, joined the family Domaine in 1967 to continue the tradition and follow his ancestors work. Since the end of the sixties to the present day the Domaine Laroche has developed from 6 hectares to a staggering 100 hectares of vineyards.
