Description

Chateau LE SENS (14 hectares) is located in Saint Caprais de Bordeaux, 18 kilometres from the Bordeaux city, in the PREMIERES COTES DE BORDEAUX appellation (AOC).

The terroir has a high proportion of gravel mixed with layers of clay over limestone subsoil. The vines benefit from the mild, damp climate, with prevailing winds from off the Atlantic Ocean.

Vineyard management. integrated pest and disease control, cover crop, sucker removal, manual leaf-thinning, shoot-trimming, as well as hand- and machine-harvesting with sorting.

This wine has a rich ruby red colour whilst on the nose you get a sense of rich cabernet. This is a very well made wine with good concentration of spicy fruit, very good balance and rounded style offering a wine that is perfect for drinking now.
