Horse Mountain Winery
The 217ha property at Horse Mountain was acquired in 1997 after its potential as a suitable terroir for quality red wine production had been identified. Owner Craig Lardner, a former property developer with a passion for winemaking, and his consultant viticulturist Paul Wallace, selected nearly 50ha of viticulturally viable ground for careful cultivation of five grape varieties.
