Description

Deep red color to this wine. The nose is dense and full of richness, though very tight. Deep cherry raspberry fruit with, earth and dark wood. Full in the mouth with a chalky tannin that is soft and fine. Chocolate, with loamy earth, stewed fruits, and dark wood. The acidity is nice, and holds this together. Flavors seem muted at first, with some nice spice elements emerging with enough air. Definitely a earthy wine, that would pair nice with some red meat.
