Description

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot grown on the central North West facing slopes of Azeitao. A three week maceration period which extracts as much quality and colour from the grapes as possible takes place after the initial fermentation period. The wine then undergoes 11 months of oak aging in new oak barrels.
The colour is deep and vivid with elegant spice notes on the nose, whilst the palate has rich black fruit flavours influenced by the time the wine has spent in oak, leading to a robust finish.
