Description

Located in El Quinon Estate, in the municipality of Pesquera del Duero, Bodegas del Jaro is committed to making wines that reflect the characteristics of each type of soil. This Ribero del Duero is made from 100% Tinto Fino (locally adapted Tempranillo) Vineyards. With a total surface of 108 hectares, the vineyards are grouped in seven different `pages` (crus) according to types of soil, vine age and aspect. Winemaker`s comments. With Sembro Tinto, Bodegas y Vifiedos del Jaro express in the grapes the most modern and varietal character of the Tempranillo variety from two of our Pages (Page del Jaro and Pago de la Piedra). It is a wine with a highly intense aroma of fresh berries with smooth spices from barrel ageing for 9 months in French and American oak barrels.
