Description

Clos Pitois is an ancient and very famous Clos created by Monks in 1421. The clos is a about 3 hectares in size planted half with Chardonnay and half with Pinot Noir Grapes. Total production is 9000 bottles. The wine is of a deep red ruby colour. It has a red fruit, autumn leaf and spice nose.On the palate it has an extremely delicate and rich pinot flavour.Elegance and finesse are the dominating characters. Will continue to develop over the next 5 to 6 years.
