This Pauillac property covers an area of 11 hectares. The wine is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot grapes with the remaining 5% a combination of Petit Verdot, Carménère, and Malbec from vines which are on average 40 years old.
The harvest is carried out totally by hand, followed by selective sorting, with traditional vinification and pumping-over 2 to 3 time per day for 8 to 10 days. The fermentation and maceration takes 3 weeks after which the wine then undergoes 15 months ageing in oak barrels with 50% new oak and, 50 % one year old oak
barrels. The wine is then racked every 3 months, before fining with egg whites and then bottled.
Deeply coloured with purple reflections with an intense opulent fruity attack on the nose, dominated by morello cherry and almond paste. Medium-bodied on the palate, with rich red fruit flavours combining well with the tannins leading to a long finish.
Serve at Room temperature (18°) with red meats, poultry, & firm cheeses.

Our delivery charges are based on the number of bottles in your order, and each case can hold 12 x 75cl bottles as shown in the table below smaller and larger bottles are pro rata. We do not have a minimum order requirement.
Subject to stock availability and successful payment authorisation, we aim to despatch your order the next working day after you place your order. Our Standard Delivery is a next day service for most of the mainland UK from date of despatch, and The Highlands and Islands areas are on a 2-3 day service normally. As most orders are delivered via our chosen courier company, we cannot offer guaranteed delivery times, however the vast majority of orders placed arrive on the next working day. During busy periods these delivery times may extend. IF YOUR ORDER IS TIME CRITICAL PLEASE RING THE OFFICE TO GET MORE UP TO DATE INFORMATION ON CURRENT DELIVERY TIME SCALES, AND WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, BUT PLEASE NOTE WE ARE COURIER DEPENDENT ONCE THE ORDER LEAVES US, SO WE CANNOT ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEE A DELIVERY DATE.
We are able to hold your order if you would like to organise a day when you are going to be in, to do this just indicate it in the notes box provided in the delivery area of the order process. Please add any other specific delivery requirements in the same box and we will do our best to ensure they are followed, or alternatively call us on 01472 852118 and we will do our best to help you. Our chosen Couriers deliver Monday to Friday between 8.00 am & 6.00 pm.

Please note that all our consignments normally REQUIRE A SIGNATURE on receipt. We will NOT be able to leave your order without someone taking the order in, we cannot leave your order unattended in a porch or garage etc., unless we get written confirmation from you that this is acceptable and that you will take full responsibilty if the parcel goes missing. However we are able to leave it with a neighbour or at an alternative address where they can take the goods in, please indicate this in the box for notes on the delivery page of the order process, if this is a requirement. If no-one answers the door, the address will be carded in the normal manner you should contact the courier or us to get the delivery rescheduled.
Orders under £30 in value will incur a small order £10 carriage charge to standard none surcharged UK delivery areas.
