Patrick Javillier

Domaine Patrick Javillier is located in the village of Meursault. Meursault, in the heart of Burgundy, is one of the most important viticultural villages of the Côte d'Or. The culture of the vine first appeared in Burgundy in the 1st century AD. It wasn't until the 13th century however that viticulture appeared in Meursault, thanks in large part to the monks of the Cîteaux.

Located in the southern half of the Côte de Beaune, the vineyard of Meursault covers 600 hectares of vine. Producing in particular white wines of great renown from the grape variety Chardonnay; wines from the village are classified under the appellations of Burgundy, Meursault and Meursault 1er cru.
