This wine comes from the les Pellans vineyard which has brown limestone soils
This wine comes from the les Pellans vineyard which has brown limestone soils over villafranchian oligocene conglomerate deposits. Half of the les Pellans vineyard is classified within the Meursault appellation and the other half in the Bourgogne appellation despite having the same soil across the entire vineyard. This is the only vineyard in Meursault having this character at this altitude in the Bourgogne appellation.
This wine exhibits a nose of great finesse. Round with lovely vivacity and freshness on the palate as well as minerality and attractive floral notes. The wine finishes with light citrus notes a Bourgogne Blanc with great finesse and a persistant palate, balanced and with fine aromatic freshness.
