Online shopping terms
When you shop with Sandhams Wine Merchants online you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use:
Delivery of your wine
The security of your wine is very important to us :- Please note that we will NOT be able to leave your order unattended at your property unless we receive written authority to do so from you, and at which point the risk of non delivery will pass to you. We are able to leave it with a neighbour or at an alternative specified address if they can take your order in, however the person receiving the order must be 18 years old or older. Please indicate on your order at the checkout should you require a different delivery address. Full delivery information is available in the delivery information section on the site.
Placing an order with us
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order with us. This contract is made on the terms of these conditions, which are governed by English Law, and the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
Order Cancellation
Under the EC/UK Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased from Sandhams Wine for a full refund provided that it is returned to us in its original state and with its packaging intact.
Order cancellations must be made in writing, quoting your order number, within 7 days of delivery of your item(s), and can be sent by e-mail to orders@sandhamswine.co.uk
Once you have cancelled your order, the goods should be returned to us, in their original condition, within 14 days of receipt. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.
I need to return an item. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item or items to us in their original condition within 14 days of receipt. We will issue a full refund on receipt, or exchange the item if preferred.

Returns and refunds
We take every care to ensure your order is correct but if any items are missing please accept our apologies and email orders@sandhamswine.co.uk quoting your order number and the missing item and we will investigate the matter further. We will rectify the situation as soon as possible and advise you as to our course of action.
We take every care to pack your order well, but if you receive any damaged or faulty items, please accept our sincere apologies. Please e-mail orders@sandhamswine.co.uk as soon as possible following delivery, quoting your order number, your name and address and details of what items are damaged or faulty. Please ensure that you retain all damaged packaging and content, so that they are available for inspection. Once you have notified us we will instruct on how to proceed.
Please allow 2 working days from receipt of a return for us to process a refund. Once we have done this you will receive an email confirmation. The email will be sent to the same email address as your Order Confirmation email was sent.
After receiving the return confirmation email, please allow a further 5-10 working days for the refund to be credited back to your credit card. This time frame is dictated by your bank or card issuer and is outside of our control. Your refund will be credited to the same card with which you made your original purchase. If for any reason this is not possible, i.e. the card had been declined or has expired, we will send a cheque to your billing address within 2 working days.
Returns Policy on Delivery Costs
If you are returning an item to us for a refund or an exchange, then the cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. We do not refund your delivery charges unless you have received a wrong or faulty item from us.
Wine stock avalability
Very occasionally we may run out of a particular wine without notice. Should this be the case we will contact you to discuss your order and advise of a later delivery date or recommend an alternative bottle or case. If our suggested wines do not meet with your requirements, or if the new delivery date does not meet with your approval, we will arrange a refund.

If you continue to browse and use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Sandhams Wine Merchants relationship with you in relation to this website. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.
