A young wine made from a blend of 52% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14%
The Chateau asserts 2005 as an exceptional vintage. Although it can be drank now, it`s ageing potential is particularly good, thus allowing for the flavours to mature. Ideally, decant an hour before drinking.
Unusually, this vintage is made from slightly more Merlot (41%), than Cabernet Sauvignon, (40%), blended with the usual Cabernet Franc (19%).
Deep red purple in colour with a nose of sweet dark and red berry fruits. Medium bodied with a smooth finish. A great value Bordeaux from this top house.
