Deep plum coloured with purple hues.
Produced from Chardonnay grapes that are harvested at night to preserve their freshness, which are then lightly crushed ensuring the free run juice is of the finest quality. The juice is then fermented on French and American oak staves to give complexity to the varietal fruit flavours. The wine then remains on oak and the fermented lees for a further two months to give a full rich mouth feel to the wine.
This lightly oaked Chardonnay has fresh tropical and stone fruit notes on the nose which compliment the Melon and gooseberry flavours on the palate. The finish is fresh with a zesty acidity that is balanced by the subtle creamy oak.
