Made entirely from Grenache grapes produced by vineyards which are over 60 years old located between 300 and 400 metres above sea level on the terraced slopes of Molar (Tarragona) in Priorat. Manual harvesting of selected grapes takes place between September and the beginning of October. This is followed by the winemaking process: Maceration for 2 weeks, then controlled fermentation at 26ºC takes place. The wine is then aged for 10 months in new and used French oak barrels
The colour is deep ruby red, and on the nose the varietal characteristics are a perfect combination of minerality and oak. The palate is rich with bags of flavour, great balance, elegance and harmony along with just the right amount of acidity emphasizing its drinkability pleasant aftertaste.
