As the youngest generation in the Matsu range, El Picaro embodies the characteristics of a strong young man, valiant, impertinent, and uncontrollable.
Vinification takes place in temperature controlled vats, to retain the freshness of the Tempranillo fruit harvested from 90 year old vines, with the minimum of filtration to preserve the natural characteristics of the wine.
This wine has a lovely profound red robe, an expression of its young age. It has an intense aroma of dark red fruits such as blackberries and blueberries, mineral notes also appear, giving this wine good complexity. In the mouth, this wine produces a rich fruit sensation, with good body, and a pleasant hint of liquorish, contributed by the maturity of the grapes from which this wine is made.
