The Colchagua valley is one of the oldest and most traditional Chilean wine regions. Although it is part of the greater Rapel valley, it has an identity of its own. From the Andes to the coast, its characteristics vary considerably, with the Andean sector being the origin of full-bodied reds and the coastal sector of refined, fresh whites. Located in an area with temperate Mediterranean climate in the central part of the valley, our vineyard grows on clayish soil that produces grapes with great color and a deep fruit expression.
The grapes used in this Cabernet Sauvignon were primarily harvested by hand. Grapes were subsequently fermented and macerated with their skin in stainless steel tanks in order to extract color,
flavors and textures. These processes are carried out under controlled temperature conditions and using selected yeasts. Once fermentation is completed, the wine is aged in vats for a few months to attain greater smoothness, complexity and subtle notes of oak that lead to rich fruit-driven expression and round tannins.
This flower-scented Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits a deep, bright violet color and delicious aromas of red fruits that mix with notes of black pepper and cedar on the palate.
